Eating Disorder Group Therapy
Using evidence-based therapies B Transformed has a team of Australian Centre for Eating Disorder (ACFED) accredited Allied Health professionals who are able to support and educate clients with eating disorders. Eligible clients can gain access to a medicare rebate for GROUP Psychological Therapy Sessions through their local GP on a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).
Bariatric Support Group
Overseen by B Transformed ACFED Accredited Psychologist Katie Murrell, B Program is designed to educate and guide clients through the journey of bariatric surgery in safe and supportive group therapy sessions. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is utilised to educate and work with the challenges toward behaviour change, as the body adapts to a healthier lifestyle. Our experienced Allied Health team at B Transformed are able to deliver education, guidance and support in a secure environment with people who share the same journey and our very own bariatric success stories.
Born in the United States, Jeremy is from Bossier City Louisiana. He has always had a passion for helping people and at the age of 23 decided to join the united states military. It was during his time in the military Jeremy discovered his calling was to counsel those who needed help, so he pursued a degree in psychology and sociology.
Jeremy achieved a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston Louisiana, and has completed every course in Psychology which include child psychology, psychology of personality, psychological testing, abnormal psychology, human growth and development, psychological research and design, psychology of learning and cognition, educational psychology, fields of psychology, social psychology, advanced general psychology, industrial psychology, and physiological psychology. Jeremy also studied sociology, which is the study of the development, structure and functioning of human society.
His favorite subject in psychology is physiological psychology, which studies the entire brain and how the brain functions and effects emotions. Since graduating, Jeremy has had experience, working with people who have problems in their daily lives and those who have trouble functioning in today’s society. He also counsels’ marriages, and children who deal with developmental issues, and adapting into their environment. Jeremy has a special interest in child development and Mental health Counselling.
When Jeremy is not busy helping his patients, he enjoys fitness, travelling and spending time with family at home. Jeremy has a true love and compassion for people, helping them through their daily lives.
